We are delighted to welcome pre-ticketed spectators to the event.
Numbers are restricted by the Covid guidelines.

  • well behaved dogs welcomed but must be kept on a short lead
  • horses are travelling at speed so children must be kept under close supervision
  • spectators enter at their own risk and are advised to wear suitable footwear for uneven terrain
  • disabled facilites on site but terrain may make access to all areas difficult

Over 250 rider and horse combinations each day compete in three phases. Watch the elegance of dressage; the accuracy of show jumping and the speed and boldness of cross country. Competitors accrue penalties, the lowest score wins! Professional riders compete against up-and-coming locals at different levels throughout the weekend.

Starting at 8.30am the Dressage is a set of compulsory movements ridden in front of a judge who will judge a whole section.

Competitors then Show Jump a course of coloured knock down fences before proceeding to the Cross Country phase over fixed natural fences.
